Quinton was borned on 22 July 2009. We got him back home when he was 3 month's old in Oct 2009. He was very tiny (0.5kg), skinny and with many health issues.

First was he kept on sneezing, once he sneeze, he could continue to sneeze up to 10 times in a row.

There was redness around his eyes. We thought was normal untill a friend pointed to us that he might be having flu.

He also having diarrhea and ear mites!

There were patches of uneven fur on his body, we thought was shedding of hair, the seller also confirm that. The truth only revealed after 2 weeks later that I found ring worm patch on my arm. I quickly checked him, Kaspar (poodle) and Felice (cat). We were shocked to find out that 3 of them were having ring worms.

This was when nightmares began. We started to look for remedies high and low online cum going through products at pet shop even after we brought him to the vet to get medications for his flu and diarrhea issues.

I bought  Dermisil - Lime Suffer Concentrate For Pet Mange 60 ml  to shampoo 3 of my furkids every 5 days. I vaccum the house everyday in order to clear the spores. I also bought Synergy Richard's Organics Pet Wellness/Pet Healing Neem Oil, 4 Ounce to apply on them and to mop the floor. However later on, I find applying diluted Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar Unfiltered - 16 oz - Liquid, then coconut oil on cats is more effective than using neem oil.

Since only dog are safe to use essential oil, I use Lavender essential oil on Kaspar's patches of inflammed skin. It would subside in a few hours and it formed new skin within a few days without leaving dark patched of skin. I use the same essential oil on myself, it has anti-inflamation properties and prevent dark patch after healing.

Everyday we have to clean his ears. Earmites also has spread to Felice.

All in all, I was very busy for the first 2 months to clear the above mentioned conditions for the 3 furkids.

Phew!, finally all were over. :)

Felice like to be involved in some of the housework too. While I was doing laundry, she was very busy interacting with my laundry's things.

Kaspar bites the cushion to show me, as he placed it on the floor, silly Felice went to lie on it. She like it so much that even Kaspar chased her away and shifted to another location. see below picture.

Kaspar gave up and allowed Felice to sit comfortably.

After a tiring day, 2 of them became so loving, or resting for energy to fight each other later?

Cats really like to challenge heights, everywhere in the house where she can challenge new peak, she would go ahead in split seconds.

Sleeping everywhere

Cat is able to sleep up to 20 hours per day. yes I observed that Felice could sleep easily whenever after a full meal.

While I was sitting on the ground watching TV program, she came and sleep in between my thighs, my legs became numb after that as I tried not to move and disturb her sleep.

From a further view, we could see she stretch till so straight. Really made me wonder my bag of things can be so comfortable for sleeping?

Felice (Siamese mixed breed) Arrival

I have not been msn with friends for quite sometime because of busy schedule. On 28th Jul, while I just logged on to check some mails, I said "hi" to Sharon at MSN. She told me she would be going to view kittens in the afternoon as she planned to adopt 2 kittens. Upon hearing that, I was excited to tag along because I have nothing on in that afternoon.

Yes I did not plan to get a kitten, Yes I did not have anything at home meant for the cat. However the kittens were too cute to resist. I told Sharon, "yes I'm on! I want to adopt a kitten too". hmmmm it may be an impulse decision, but I have not regretted it yet. She paid a token to the old malay granny. In the end, Sharon took a kitten instead of 2 as she was a bit worried if she could manage since she already have a doggy and a cat at home.

I named the kitten 'Felice' which means 'Happy'. I want her to become a happy cat. This was the place I set up for her initially allowing her to adapt to her enviroment. Basically her bed, the litter tray and water. Glad to say she was litter tray trained after the first day. On the second day we realized the cage served no purpose at all as she could climb up out of the cage, that was why we also removed the cage and allow her to roam about. When we were away in the day time, Cat in the kitchen, dog in the living room plus the master bed room, as Kaspar would be able to use the master bedroom's toilet.

Kaspar and Felice were afraid of each others for 2 days. Felice would hissed at him whenever kaspar tried to be near. In the above photo, you could see Keith was trying to push Kaspar near Felice but he was very scared.

She was very cute, she would talk to me. Whenever she want to pee or poo, she would meow. When she enjoys her food, she would meow. When she was hungry, she would came and meow to me. All these meows sound very different.
